Lost in translation

B-O-R-I-N-G. much ado about nothing. Copolla? Blah! The story of the film? The two protagonists are bored/lonely. Then? Oh, that’s all. They are bored. They are lonely. Bored. Lonely. Bored lonely. Bored lonely. Bored lonely. Bored lonely. Bored lonely. Bored lonely. Bored lonely. Bored lonely. Bored lonely. Bored lonely. Bored lonely. Bored lonely. Bored lonely. Bored. lonely. Bored lonely.... Bonely lored.

Comments:
i've got nothin to say cz you have eloquently put my opnion about that wonderfully disastrous film into words
egs of pseudo movie- red violin, clockwork's orange

oh, i cant decide, which was worse, clockwork orange or lost in translation!

MY MINDS SCREAMS CLOCKWORK ORANGE!!!!!!!!!!!! oh wait i've got more there is this called PI.was released in 1998.its about a paranoid mathematician searching for a key number that will unlock the universal patterns found in nature.

liked all the three movies mentioned. clockwork orange is a fantabulous book too.

LOL darling you didn't finish Clockwork Orange and I'm sure you haven't seen the movie either ;-)

Did you find out abt the movie I mentioned or am I to assume that like the food even movies are not "out thing" ? Sniff sniff...

Btw I'm also bonely lored these days...terriblement so...sigh.

I haven't seen Lost in Translation so I can't really comment on that but the mention of Enid Blyton - now that brings back some great childhood memories.
Stupid kids.I wonder if they've even heard of her.

Oh and Hazaaron Khwahishein Aisi is beautiful...discovered it only recently.

Nice blog btw. Will drop in again.

guppie - i cant tell you how i HATED the book.

geetanjali - was talking bout the book.

phoenix - thank you thank you.

I loved Lost in Translation..saw it at the New York movie festival. Sofia Coppola got an ovation for it.

Delicate emotions bringing to light the loneliness of being in a new city. Touched a nerve with me.

vikster - too delicate. i so know what it means to be in a new city, though. especially one where you cant connect to anybody. small town india. alas.

I loved how this movie conveyed the feeling of lonliness and anonymity in a big city so well. The overwhelming feeling of helplessness that overtakes you when you realize you're all alone.

And I'm SO glad the love wasn't physically consummated. It really hit a chord with me.
